On-going projects
Catchment Solutions Project
This is a 3 year project involving catchment groups in the Hawkes Bay, Taranaki and the Manawatu River Catchment (Mangaone and Haynes Creek).
Mitigation demonstration projects will be built in all participating catchments with an in-depth analysis of each catchment.
Water has been collected from farm drains in the Mangaone River catchment and analysed by Massey. This initial monitoring is to investigate and understand the catchment issues, to identify the correct mitigation options with plans to implement, monitor and analyse a demonstration site.
